Pro1 thermostat blinking stars

Mar 20, 2016 · Yesterday I used the app to switch the boiler on but noticed the BRD91 was displaying a flashing red LED! I left it for a while, maybe 30 minutes or so and the boiler fired up and red LED stopped flashing. I'm a little mystified. Anyone know what might have caused this? Regards John PS the batteries had been removed from the 'broken' controller.
